THE GOURMET ESCAPE GREAT SOIREE RETURNS TO FRASER GALLOP

This year’s soirée promises to be a wonderful evening of live entertainment, delicious food and award-winning Fraser Gallop Estate wines. It’s a rare opportunity to enjoy the wines in the very place they were created.

Dine on a generous selection of canapes by one of Australia’s most influential chefs, Andrew McConnell, who will be joined by local chef Aaron Carr. Andrew’s culinary empire includes Cumulus Inc, Cutler & Co and Supernormal Canteen. Aaron Carr is one of Margaret River’s leading chefs, and his new Dunsborough restaurant will open in late 2017.

As the sun sinks into the west, admire the manicured gardens, Renaissance-style parterre terraces and beautiful lake while you sip on a range of our wines.

GOLD AT THE SIX NATIONS WINE CHALLENGE

The 2013 Fraser Gallop Parterre Cabernet Sauvignon won Gold in the Six Nations Wine Challenge last week, the latest accolade for a "totally delicious and stylish Bordeaux Blend" (James Halliday, 2017 Halliday Wine Companion).

The happy news, if you're keen to stock the cellar, is that there is a limited quantity still available at cellar door and online.

With the 2014 vintage due for release in November, winemaker Clive Otto says, "The 2013 Parterre Cabernet Sauvignon has certainly been garnering a lot of praise from the wine press and wine drinkers but the 2014 is from a classic Cabernet year in Margaret River and looks likely to fill its shoes quite nicely."

2014 Parterre Chardonnay trophy large

Recently our Parterre Chardonnay has been turning a few heads, and for good reason too. The 2014 Parterre Chardonnay was recognised by winning the trophy for 'Best Chardonnay of Show', at the 2016 Royal Queensland Wine Show. Whilst in the Northern Hemisphere, the 2013 Parterre Chardonnay received an international trophy, after being awarded the coveted Critics' Choice for 'Best New-World Chardonnay', at the 2016 Sommelier Wine Awards UK.
